Frequently Asked Questions
Caring for your new surface is easy. We recommend using non-abrasive, liquid cleaners. Avoid abrasive powders, harsh chemicals, and scrubbing pads. We will provide you with detailed care instructions upon completion of the job.
We stock three shades of white including a high-gloss pure white. One of these 3 shades will typically match most standard bathroom fixtures. However, we can also provide custom colors to match your specific design needs. Please contact us to discuss custom color options. The options are virtually limitless.
Preparation Instructions
Please complete these tasks before we arrive to refinish your tub or shower:
- Remove all items from tub and shower (shower curtain, soap, brushes, wash cloths, etc.)
- Remove all personal items from counter
- Remove rugs and towels from bathroom
If possible, please complete the following tasks before we arrive to refinish your tub or shower:
- Remove shower doors (if possible)
- Remove bathtub drain (if possible)
- If the toilet is close to the bathtub, please measure the distance between the toilet and tub, and provide us that measurement
If you are remodeling your bathroom:
- New flooring should be installed and left uncaulked to the tub or shower
- If you have installed a new surround, it should be installed tight to the tub but leave it uncaulked
- All bathroom painting should be completed before we refinish your tub
- Repair any drips or leaks in tub faucet or shower
- All plumbing repairs must be completed
- If you’re installing a new drain, use plumbers’ putty only – no silicone
- If toilet or vanity sits within 12 inches to the item being refinished, please remove it if possible
- All lighting and electrical work completed
- Do not install any shower doors for at least 5 days after refinishing
With proper care and maintenance, your newly refinished surface can last for 10-15 years or even longer. We use high-quality, durable materials designed for longevity.
Most standard refinishing projects, such as a bathtub or shower, are completed in just one day (typically 7-8 hours). You can usually use your refinished surface within 24-48 hours after completion.

We use ventilation systems to filter and exhaust vapors and odors. While there will be odor during the process, it typically dissipates within a several hours after the refinishing process is complete.
Yes! Our process includes repairing minor to moderate damages like chips, cracks, rust spots, and holes before the refinishing process begins. This ensures a smooth, seamless final surface. We also repair major damage to fiberglass bathtubs and showers.
